From developing young horses to preparing them for the sales, we take a careful, thoughtful approach at every stage. We focus on doing the basics well, evolving when the market demands it, and producing horses that can succeed on the racetrack.
Founded in 2001 by second generation horseman Peter O’Callaghan, Woods Edge Farm reflects a lifetime immersed in horses and a program shaped by experience at the highest levels of the global Thoroughbred industry.

What We Do
Boarding
Woods Edge boards a select group of horses for clients whose goals align with our program. With limited numbers and a hands-on approach, we provide the same care, preparation, and attention to detail that define our own stock.
Breeding
Woods Edge breeds commercially from a carefully developed broodmare band, focused on producing athletic, correct horses suited to the demands of the modern Thoroughbred marketplace and ready to excel on the racetrack.
Sales Consignment & Preparation
We operate a boutique sales consignment, intentionally preparing horses for every level of the market. Every horse is prepared at Woods Edge, most from birth, and presented with the goal of placing them well and giving buyers confidence.
